Who we are
BrutallyHired (“we”, “us”) is an AI-powered resume auditing and rewriting service operated from India. You can reach us at info@brutallyhired.in.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, name, and optionally a phone number when you sign up.
- Resume content — the PDF or DOCX file you upload, extracted as plain text for analysis. We do not store the original file binary.
- Audit results — the AI-generated audit and rewritten resume text, stored so you can access them later.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Razorpay. We store only your plan tier after a successful payment. We never see your card or UPI details.
- Usage data — basic usage counts (audits run) to enforce plan limits.
How we use it
- To provide the resume audit and rewrite service.
- To send transactional emails (email confirmation, password reset). No marketing emails without your consent.
- To enforce plan limits and process payments.
- To improve the service — we may review aggregated, anonymised audit data to improve our AI prompts.
Third parties
- Supabase — authentication and database (hosted in ap-northeast-1, Tokyo).
- Anthropic — AI processing. Your resume text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the audit and rewrite. Anthropic's data retention policies apply.
- Razorpay — payment processing. Governed by Razorpay's privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
Data retention
Your account and resume data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@brutallyhired.in and we will delete your data within 7 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at info@brutallyhired.in and we will respond within 7 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
