Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Policy

All purchases on BrutallyHired are one-time payments for a digital service. Because the résumé audit is generated and delivered instantly upon payment, we do not offer refunds as a general policy.

We are a small independent service and every audit involves real AI processing costs. We ask that you review the sample teardown at brutallyhired.in/sample before purchasing so you know exactly what you're getting.

When a Refund Will Be Issued

We will issue a full refund in one specific circumstance only:

The service failed completely — meaning your payment was processed successfully but no audit report was generated or delivered to your account.

If this has happened to you, email us at info@brutallyhired.in with the subject line “Report Not Generated” and include:

  • The email address used to sign up
  • The date and approximate time of purchase
  • Your Razorpay payment reference number (found in your bank/UPI transaction history)

We will investigate and, if confirmed, process your refund within 5–7 business days back to the original payment method.

Payment Deducted but Order Failed?

If your payment was deducted but you were not taken to your report (e.g. a payment gateway timeout or network drop), do not attempt to pay again immediately. Email us at info@brutallyhired.in and we will either:

  • Manually confirm the payment and activate your plan, or
  • Initiate a refund if the payment was not captured

We will respond within 2–3 business days.

What Is Not Eligible for a Refund

  • You did not find the audit useful or helpful
  • You changed your mind after the report was delivered
  • You purchased the wrong plan
  • You did not read the sample teardown before purchasing

These situations are not eligible for a refund. The service was delivered as described.

Cancellations

There are no subscriptions on BrutallyHired — so there is nothing to cancel. You pay once, you get your report. That's it.
